Greek Chef 2019


Once again, Anko Academy students showed their talents and stood out for their professionalism and knowledge. The students of Cooking and Pastry departments participated in the Greek Chef competition organized in the context of the food and Beverage exhibition, Expotrof 2019.
 
Student Memberships and medals
Anko Academy was represented by the following students:

  3. Theofilos Kassaras, Technician of Cooking Art – Anko Academy Kos

  5. Antzela Tzafa, Technician of Cooking Art – Anko Academy Kos
  6. Giorgos Thomas, Technician of Cooking Art – Anko Academy Kos
In the categories involved, Anko Academy students highlighted the local products of the Dodecanese, presenting creative dishes using modern techniques.
The students and professors of Anko Academy demonstrated at a nationwide level the high level of studies provided by the No. 1 School of tourism professions of the Dodecanese.

Greek Young Chef
Special was the distinction that was received by the student of cooking Iek, Jaffa Angela, in the category Greek Young Chef 2019, conquering the silver medal. The 2nd year student has cooked using unknown materials, creating an excellent dish. Noteworthy is the fact that the jury asked for the recipe of the dish!
We would like to thank everyone who helped and supported the efforts of our students. More specifically, we would like to thank and congratulate Mr. Protopsaltis Panayiotis (pastry chef) and Mr. Chantzaridis Daniil (chef), who undertook the preparation of students. Congratulations to all the students who participated in this wonderful culinary journey!
