Gastro Afyon Cooking Competition, Turkey 2018

International Award for Anko Academy!!!!

Anko's cooking and pastry students stood out at the International Culinary Competition Gastro Afyon 2018. With Anko's unique representation from Greece in the international Culinary Competition Gastro Afyon 2018 in Turkey, the students of Anko Academy Kos were awarded two gold medals, four silver and five bronze. The competition organised by the Association of Chefs of Afyon, by the Federation of Chefs of Turkey and the University of Afyon. Anko's students competed on an international level and demonstrated their high level of knowledge. Our students participated in 3 main categories: fish, meat and sweets. Our dishes have stolen the impressions of the judges and the public and have highlighted their European character. The winners are:

Raphael Pachos: 2nd in category Meat and 3rd in the category Fish

Tsoukalas Aslanis: 2nd in category Fish and third in the category meat Winners from pastry school are:

Kontogiwrgaki Argyro: 2nd in the category Sweet

Fotakis Nickolas: 3rd in the category Sweet

While Anko was awarded with 2 gold medals.
